- Bug fix: When the system is first run after a fresh installation
it tries to register gseos.exe as an automation server in the
registry. This causes the system to crash when not run with Administrative
privileges. Automation has been disabled.
- Bug fix: If no ToolBar/Statusbar is configured in GSEOS.ini
set default to top for ToolBar and bottom for StatusBar.
- Make the Console window file relative. When moving the entire
GSEOS directory the Console window will now point to a relative
console file. Before it prompted an error message that the
log file could not be opened.
- Add BDM dump to debug the system on allocation: When allocation
failures occur the system can dump debug information to the file
BDMInfoDump.txt. An info dump takes about 1MB of disk space. The
system can be configured to only dump for a limited number of
allocation failures. You configure this in gseos.ini in the [System]
section. Set 'DumpsOnAllocFail' to the number of dumps you want
to generate. The default is 0 and no dumps will be generated.
The dumps are appended to the file, even after restarting GSEOS
the file is not overwritten but will be appended to. The following
entry in Gseos.ini will dump on the first allocation failure:
