GSEOS Version Control

The GSEOS software uses a three-part version number (e.g. 5.2.186): major version, minor version, and release number. The version number can be found in Windows Explorer via Properties → Version, or programmatically when running GSEOS:

Specific missions have their own versioning scheme independent of the core GSEOS software, ensuring consistency of mission-specific extensions. Most upgrades are cumulative and contain the complete installation. Bug fixes and patches are released on an as-needed basis.

Releases

All official releases undergo unit and integration tests. Hot fixes may be released between official releases with the customer’s evaluation.

Archives

All download archives are password encrypted. To install, extract files including the directory structure into your GSEOS root directory (where gseos.exe resides).
